Never Say Goodbye, but Say Farewell...

Today is the farewell with Uncle Ben at PappaRich (Kota Kemuning).

6 more weeks later might be my farewell. After registered for postgraduate, I felt the time seems like passing slowly. I was unwaiting for the result. Everyday checking the status for the application few times. It is still in review. I just registered on 2nd Nov, my friend asked me to be patient because just registered around 1 weeks.

2 days ago, I just asked my supervisor whether sent the referee form to IPS of UMS. But my supervisor said he sent the referee form already. Now I was waiting for my examiner to send the referee form.

It seems like many steps to do when have to further at other university. If continue my postgraduate in UMS, I will not require to do so many things.

Is it today considered as the ended of my probation since I started work at 11/08/2010?

Time is passing by very fast, it seems like doing nothing and not learn much but already 3 months. I felt it is getting more and more bored in the office, just like nothing to do... This type of lifestyle will be ended soon.


I have to start doing research alone again to learn more new things with 0% of experience and 80% of interesting (I guess). I really wish I can learn all the things in a short time. However, I am scared for failures as well when trying new things.


Today is having lunch at Lohas as well... This is the 4th times that I was having my lunch with my colleague at there.

Today I ate kid's meal chicken chop. :)

At Penang (30/10/10 - 02/11/10)

Finally I was decided to further my postgraduate at USM. This time I was going to USM to register for postgraduate. This is the first time that I took bus alone to Penang.

On 2/11/10,

I was finally registered for postgraduate at IPS of UMS before back to Shah Alam...

It seems like I forgot to fill many things on the forms due to rush of time...

I had to take bus back to Shah Alam alone as well. In the bus had a uncle was chatting with me non stop... He told me that he lived at Port Klang and where is the location. Actually I planned to tell the uncle that I do not know how to recognise the road so you need to tell me so detailed about the location. Since he is so excited and bored so I just answered him "O" all the time... hahaha...

When my aunt came to fetch me at Shah Alam bus station, she asked me what are the famous penang food that I had been ate at there...

But the conclusion is I was not eating any Penang local foods at there... hahaha...

@ Lohas (22/10/10)

Today is the first time that I am going to try organic foods. Mostly in our mind set that organic food must be served all vegetables. However it is not...

Lohas is an organic food restaurant with the slogan of "Just Balance It". The foods in the restaurant are focused on the healthy lifestyle.

I really like the foods in Lohas and the price is reasonable. Even though is kid's meal but the portion is already big enough for ladies. The environment is very comfortable and the staffs are very friendly. Once you dine in, you will get a small cup of free lemongrass drink.

On 9/10/2010, I was having dinner at the same place with my brother. The reason is the price of the steaks are reasonable and tasty. It is just a small restaurant at a quite hidden place.

On 10/10/2010, after taking the family photos at studio, I was having dinner at Upperstar with my friends and my brother. Upperstar just like usually that crowded with customers.

Convocation 09/10/10

Today I was finally graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Computer Science with honours (Software Engineering). This is the important day for me and my family's members. Unfortunenately, my father cannot attend my convocation due to health problem.

After convocation, I had to decide whether continue for my postgraduate or working. I really do not know how to make the decision. My mom has been persuaded me many times to further for postgraduate. Hopefully I can make decision after went back to Shah Alam.

Today has a little bit unhappy... My punch card is missing already... It seems like very important. I really don't know why only I have to punch the card everyday on my level since the entrance card will record the time of in and out... It is really like doing extra thing.

I was started feeling bored to such working lifestyle. After convo, I have to decide what do I really want...

Giant Lizard

Have u see the species below? My uncle(@butterworth) ask me to guess what is the species below. He sent its to me via MMS. I really cannot guess what is that... Finally my uncle told me that is a giant lizard. It is really giant... I never see the lizard so big size until up to 334grams. My uncle said this is the jungle species lizard.

New Born Bunny...

The only survived bunny. It is born on 21st August 2010. Now the pinky skinny bunny that without fur has been grew up... It really looks cute.

Unfortunately, bunny's mummy had been passed away on last Monday... Really felt sad for this. Now only leave bunny and its daddy.

Today finally is the beginning of the weekend. This week I really felt tired, I did not like to translate. It seems like an endless task, I have to continue and repeat translating... I did not like to do the boring thing, to live in boring style... However I have to force myself to finish all my tasks...

Finally this weekend is ended. Tonight I am quite happy. I was going to church gathering with my another uncle called Tony. Actually I am not Christian. I just go with my cousin. The church members are quite nice and friendly. They are continuing gave me and my cousin chocolates. They said I am looked young... Look young is having many priority too... Hahaha...

Saturday I was going to Carrefour with my aunt's family and accompanied my cousin for the coloring contest.

Today is the 8th day of my working in EfunTV, I felt that my working life is really bored. I have to be alone in the room from 9am until 6pm. Suddenly I miss my last semester life in U which is the busiest semester that no time to rest and have to think and code for my FYP application all the time. Besides than code my FYP application, I had a lot of assignments to do. During that time, all my time just spent for my assignments and FYP. However, my life was not as bored as now. Although my life was very busy but I will go out enjoy with my roomates. We are enjoyed for hunting foods in Kota Kinabalu. Even I was very tired but after coming back from food hunting I will feel energetic to continue my tasks.

Now my life is totally different as before. In working life I have to learn how to adpat in the social environment and face the reality. I have to differentiate which should be said and which are not... I really feel tired and wish to escape from all of these.

Finally I have worked for 3 days of the probation. However, I feel quite bored with the working life that everyday also repeating the same routine. But I am quite happy that I have learnt some new Linux commands and I have chance to meet with the code. I really do not know the reason that why I just like to learn new code and have the chance to use it. I felt like a release after the internship because during that period I just used the software tools that will generate the code. Now I have the chance to return back to my coding life. I have forgot a lot of codes that I learnt before and now is the time for me to remind them.

9August2010(Last Day of My Internship)

Today is the last day of my internship. I was so happy and I will begin my new life tomorrow. Tomorrow I will start for the job interview. Hopefully I can get a job that I like and it will not be bored for me. I like to learn new thing but I will be bored to one thing very fast as well. Don't know why I am really happy today feel like freedom...

Tomorrow will be the last day of my internship. It will be the last stay in Kota Damansara. Wish I can end my internship with a happy ending tomorrow. After that, I have to begin my new life and choose the suitable path to go... It's time for me to make decision already...

Today the supervisor required me to stay back if I can't finish to teach the another 2 internship students. I really don't want to stay back... I want to go back to my aunt's house as usual.

After I had my lunch, I quickly teach them. Luckily, I can go back today but I was going back when my uncle called me that he already reached. On the way going back is traffic jam. It may due to the raining day.

I still have 6 days of internship life to go...

Today Mr Kesh (CEO) said: "Hi..." to me... I just said hi to him back. Next week will have more internship students are coming to the company. After Mr Kesh discussed with the supervisor, the tables have been rearranged. There will have another supervisor for computer science student on next week. I guess she is Rajeswari because she no needs go to Hong Leong Bank to work already. She is the first female worker I have met in the technical department. I really don't know the new intern students will have female or not. Sometimes I really felt bored when I was the only one female in the department. Sometimes I really like it because I am the only one... When rearranged the tables, Mr Kesh was made a joke and said all are females and one is male only... Hahaha...

My supervisor said had to separate to two parties already since there has new supervisor. However I am still belonged to the same supervisor. I really don't know should be happy or sad. If follow him I have to continue to learn and do more ETL process. If follow new supervisor I can learn new things. However I had learn a lot of thing related to database and ETL process. He always wants me to learn new things. After talend is bonitasoft, then today is Mondrian. I am really no idea on Mondrian. When I was interviewed I said I knew the java code but not mean I was known anything related to java. The important task he told me on yesterday for today is learning the Mondrian. However I do not know whether tomorrow have to something about Mondrian or the ETL process because when I want to go back he said I have to do talend job on tomorrow.

My friend asked me to pray for more chinese handsome guys for the new coming internship students... Hahaha... I am prayed now... ;-p

1 June 2010 (Morning)

Really lazy to update my blog recently. Suddenly this morning felt want to update my blog. I really do not like the working life, it is extremely boring and I was started waiting for lunch time and time to go back. I really do not know in the future can I adapt in such a working situation. When the second week of my internship I already had such feeling.

Have to start my boring working time already because my supervisor is coming already. Hahaha...

Today my supervisor is on leave for the whole day and tomorrow on leave for half day... I am so free and boring. I should notice it since last Friday because he had sent mail to my mail box in the company.

Maybe my step too fast already so my supervisor did not have thing to assign me to do. I just helped another trainee that learn the same thing with me.

Hopefully tomorrow after lunch my supervisor will ask me to do other thing rather than dealing with the database. Hahaha...

Tonight is raining heavily. I was back to Kota Damansara already and tomorrow have to start to continue my internship. It seem like very fast that I will start for the first day of my internship on second week tomorrow.

I really felt very boring because I have to playing with database again tomorrow. Hope my supervior will ask me to do code and teach me Linux very soon.

Today is the end of the working day of this week and friday is the only day that no need to wear formal. Today I reach the company around 8.47am but the door still is locked. Today the person that holding the key is coming late a bit until my supervisor and two other chinese internship guys are waiting with me as well.

The task of today is transfering the data from postgresql database server to mysql database server. The mysql database will have more fields that postgresql database and I have to set the created date to NOW() and created user to 'ETL'.

I really do not like to do the transfering job it requested same number of fields and same schema in Talend. If I just executed the query to transfer all the data will be easier. Next Monday I have to fix by not using the query. Then when will I learn eclipse and Linux???

Today I am still playing with database. My supervisor said wants to teach me Linux but I still dealing with the database. Maybe he is no time to teach me. Today is creating a file to store all the connection variables like host, port, database name, schema, user name and password. Then when the connection for the database it just need to call the values from the variables. In the java code the values for the connecction will change to the variables in the file as well.

Today I don't know why felt very sleepy. I do not like to learn thing by just reading the materials that containe a lot of words to study. Around 11am I already felt very sleepy and around 4pm I felt sleepy again. But I not dare to sleep because the cctv just near to me only.

Today only me and 2 chinese guys coming to work. Then from the workers and my supervisor I knew that the software checking is the first time happened in the company after few years they are working there. The 4 malay guys no need come to work because the desktops that provided by the company already confiscated. My supervisor said if the government department returns the PCs, the company have to pay around RM1000 for a PC and it is calculated by how long the software had been used in the PC. Therefore when you are worked please do not use any pirated software.

After the 2 chinese guys going out for site services, I was the only internship student in the company. Everyone of them are very busy and I have to do whatever thing that my supervisor want me to learn. I found that yesterday and today my supervisor was asking me the same question that whether I already have my lunch. They all really like scared me didn't know go to lunch. I just coming back early only...

Today I learnt how to create log file for the database in file and database. This means the log file can store in a file or in the database. Tomorrow my supervisor will teach how to use Linux and develop a small project.

Today I was creating the PostgreSQL database to excel and format. Then the supervisor explained to me about the log file for the database. I have to create localhost database because even I have a new connection name but still cannot access to the database even is trying in my laptop.

After lunch, there are a lot of government department workers are coming to the company. They are checking every software in every desktops and laptops in the company. The purpose of them is to check the pirated software. This is like happening big case and I saw around 20 government officials. We have to stop our works and let them to check. Even my Sony laptop had to check as well.

When the free time, more people coming to talk with me. The government officials talk with me as well. They ask me got any pirated software in my laptop or not like making joke and I said have in smiling face. Then they suddenly said not joke and seriously so I said my Adobe Dreamweaver is pirated one. After quite long of time still haven't reach my turn. Suddenly another official came and said why your laptop hasn't check is that they all not dare to check your laptop? I just answered no. While the official is checking I have to explain every single software to him. When he open the about Help at Adobe Dreamweaver, the program start to become hang and stop for work. I was not noticed this before and I told usually it can be functioned well. Then he said can use but when clicked the about Help will having problem. He asked me whether know that the cracking software will have virus and it is unsafe to use especially use online bank will be hacked easily. He was written down everything included the hard drive serial number in a form.

After that, they are started to take action and want to bring back some desktops in the company that the Microsoft office is pirated. All the internship students have to go back early because we can't do anything since the government officials are taking action.

Today is the first day of my internship. I reached the company around 8.35pm, however I can't enter to the company without a pass to scan for opening the door. After few minutes I saw an Indian guy and I told him I was the first day internship at the company. Then he bring me to the receiption counter there to wait, there are still have a lot of worker haven't reached the company yet.

Around 9.20am, I saw the clerk and she gave me the company contact to read and sign. Then she bring me to a meeting room and let me alone to study the company profile and working strategies. After that a foreign guy was coming and presenting the company function and the developed software to me.

Around 10.50am, the clerk bring me to the upstair of the company which is the technical department. When the first step I was entering there I saw that all are males. I was the only female at there... There are 2 chinese guys, 4 malay guys and me are the internship students for the technical department. After that, they are preparing a desktop for me and I have to install eclipse and Notepad++. Then my supervisor told me to study Talend and download and install that to the PC.

I was going late for lunch after the chinese guys told me that was the lunch time. Then I only know that the lunch time is 1pm. I was coming back early to the company before the 4 malay guys coming back and they didn't see me already going for lunch. After that 1 of them come to tell me can going for lunch already. They are scared me didn't know the lunch time but I told them I was already have my lunch.

Then I was install the pgAdminIII and Aqua Data Studio. I learnt how to use the Aqua Data Studio to create the connection and obtain the database from the company server. However the PC didn't know why can't get the database to Talend. Talend can help me to convert many types of database to other formats. Since the connection can make Talend become hang, my supervisor told me to use localhost to create PostgreSQL by pgAdminIII and convert it to excel and XML formats.

Today I was feeling extremely tired. First day already had to learn a lot of things and all the workers are seem nicely.

new gmail account

In this world really will have many many people that having the same name. I just want to create a gmail account using my name but it is not available because already existed. However, not everyone that having the same name will born on the same day in the world. Therefore I have to concatenate my name with my birthday to have an available email address.

I was drawing all these drawings while I have the inspiration. I just draw out anything that is in my mind at that moment. Sometime I also do not know what will I draw, it just follow my feeling and inspiration. I enjoy drawing even I know that all my drawings are not outstanding. I will draw when I really free and with a peace and calm mindset. Hope you all will like my drawings but please do not ask me to explain every drawing to you. I also do not know how to explain. I just draw it out based on anything in my mindset at that moment.

Tonight Finding

When the time I was not doing any code, I would like to take photo. Don't know why I really feel like very happy and enjoy when photographing. Just like the feeling. So long I have stopped taking photos since I was started to code my FYP application. Tonight I suddenly have the feeling want to capture something when I saw its was flying around.
