Today my roommates suddenly suggested having the dinner at Gunter's Gasthaus Restaurant. It is a Germany food restaurant at Kota Kinabalu. We are the first customers of the restaurant at that time because we arrived there before 6.15pm. However, the operating hour is started at 6.30pm.
There has a special package which is the food price will be charged based on the highest food price among the 3 dishes that you ordered. This had been written on the menu. Therefore, one person can have 3 dishes but only paid for one of the most expensive dish. This package is only available from 6.30 to 8.30pm. One of the most interesting thing in this restaurant is all the workers we saw are transsexual. The service is moderate.
We are waited for around 30min for the first dish. In our mind, we thought the dish will be very tasty and delicious because it took so long to cook. However, the look of the dish is very common and do not have any decoration. After we tasted the dish, it is really make us disappointed. The taste is very weird and had a bit sour. It will make you do not have the appetite to continue eating. Then, we just quickly finished it and continued for second order. The reason is without finishing the first order, we can’t continue for second order. This is the rule. Then we are planned to order the dessert which is sweet to increase the appetite soon. However, the waiter@waitress (is transsexual) said the dessert is not included in the package. This was making no mood to continue the second dish because it is very difficult to expect the taste of the next dish again.
After paid the bill, we went to another dessert’s restaurant to have the dessert. We are agreed that next time will not go to the restaurant again. It is depended on personal favor, if you like it you will come again.
